Per kWh on a registered account. Peak 07:00–23:59, off-peak 00:00–06:59. No membership and no minimum charge. Guest and contactless payments cost 10% more, because each is processed as an individual transaction rather than on a monthly bill. 2025 rates, with no increase announced.

What does it cost to charge with Evolve?
On a registered account it is 30p per kWh at peak on the 7.4kW and 22kW chargers, and 32p per kWh on the 50kW and 150kW ones. Between midnight and 06:59 that drops to 15p and 16p respectively. There is no minimum charge. Paying as a one-off guest or by contactless adds 10%.
Do I have to pay a membership or subscription fee?
No. Evolve Public has no membership fee — you pay only for the electricity you use, billed monthly on a registered account. The charging tag is free too.
Does Evolve install home chargers?
Not yet. Evolve Home, a home charger with a subscription plan, has been announced but is still listed as coming soon, with no price or launch date published. If you need a home charger installed today you will need a local electrical contractor.
Can I use my Evolve tag in the UK or Europe?
Yes. The tag roams onto tens of thousands of compatible public charge points off-island. Roaming partners set their own prices though, so it usually costs more than charging in Jersey, and a fault on an off-island charger has to be reported to that network, not Evolve.
Is parking included in the charging price?
No. You pay for the electricity and for the parking separately, wherever the charge point sits in a paid parking area.
Why is my car charging more slowly than the charger is rated for?
The car and the charger agree a rate between them, so the limit is usually your car's own onboard charger rather than the unit. How full the battery already is, the temperature, and how many other cars are drawing from the same site all reduce it further.
